Hello, my name is Sophia and I’m honored to work with you all more closely as your Communications Secretary for the 2023-2024 Science Olympiad season! I’ll be responsible for sending out weekly emails with important reminders, timelines, forms, etc., as well as responding and giving voice to any of your needs/concerns that may arise. By actively communicating with you and the rest of the board throughout the year, I promise to make sure that everyone will be up to date and on the same page each step of the way. Lastly, as this will be my third and final year in SciOly, I hope to make it count for everyone whether we’re a returning member or an up-and-coming one! While SciOly is definitely a big commitment, the time I’ve spent on this team has been such a productive and rewarding one. From all the practice during our long study calls to squeezing obscene amounts of info onto the cheat sheets, I’ve regardless been able to come out each time with a deeper grasp of the spheres in STEM I feel passionate about and beyond that, new friends. I’m grateful to be a part of this team once again and I’m excited to work with you all even more next season!
